After successful completion of HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course you will have the knowledge and skills to apply CPR in a first aid situation.
Methods of Delivery for CPR
Half day face-to-face training
HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is delivered through face to face direct training from 8:30am until 12:00pm on selected days. The total duration training occurs over approximately half a day.
Minimum Requirements for Eligibility for CPR
To be eligible for CPR training you are required to meet the following criteria:
– Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or Resident documented with a Passport, Citizenship Certificate or Green Medicare Card (Must provide at least 1 Document)
– Prove your identity documented with a Drivers License, 18+ Proof of Age Card, Keypass Card or Passport (Must provide at least 1 Document)
– Students under 18 years of age are required to have parent/guardian permission to enrol in CPR training.
Advance-Forward RTO#45256 is not CRICOS approved and therefore cannot accept international students
Our location is a 5 minute walk from the Springwood Bus Stop, we are a direct exit off the M1 Motorway heading south and around the corner from Arndale Shopping Centre. There is also plenty of parking available near our location.
Overview on CPR
Upon successful completion of the HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course you will be provided with a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency. To achieve this qualification you will be required to complete and demonstrate a satisfactory understanding of the following: written assessments, verbal assessments and practical display assessments and case scenarios.

Satisfactory Completion in CPR
Upon satisfactory completion of HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation you will have the skills and knowledge to provide CPR to first aid recipients. CPR can also be described as mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and breath of life.
Non-Satisfactory Completion in CPR
If you receive a non-satisfactory completion at the end of the HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation unit of competency, you will be provided with a second opportunity to satisfactorily complete the same unit of competency at no additional cost. Our trainers will use all available facilities to assist you in reaching a satisfactory grading. We do not guarantee the successful completion of any unit of competency, however we will provide you with the full support from our expert trainers for you to achieve the best possible outcome.
Price for CPR unit of competency
The cost for the HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation unit of competency is $70. We accept payment by bank transfer, PayPal, cash or EFT/credit card facilities. Payment plans are not available for this course.
A deposit of $20 is required upon your enrolment in the CPR course, with refunds available as per our refund policy. A copy of our refund policy can be located on our website or a hard copy can be viewed in our student handbook.
