Scott Percival

Director, Head Trainer

Scott is the director and head trainer at Advance-Forward, he built the company for the ground up to what is now one of the largest RTO’s in Queensland.
After spending 5 years in the British Army’s Cavalry Regiment The Kings Royal Hussars’ and completing various tours overseas Scott returned to Australia in 2009 with a passion for security, he has worked with some of the top organisations not just throughout Australia but throughout the world.
Scott loves training new students and most return time and time again for refresher training and to up skill. Scott’s classroom technique leads to a relaxed and friendly class environment where student have fun and learn.

Allison Devlin

Director

Allison leads the administration department.  With over 18 years in real estate and administration, she is dedicated to ensuring that the organization runs to a high standard of expectation. Attention to detail makes Allison the perfect administrator who is highly dedicated to making our organization a leading member in the training industry.

She has a Diploma in Business Management, managed multiple trust accounts and is a fully qualified real estate agent. Soon to commence studies for her accounting degree, this is just one more notch on her belt which ensures the success of our business.  Her spare time is spent running the family house and volunteering as the treasurer for the Chatswood Hills State School P & C Association – a position she has retained since 2017.

Allison receives all complaints direct to her email to ensure the students privacy and confidentiality. Allison also handles the daily accounts and compliancy working closely with Annette Smith & Jeffrey Leahy.

Annette Smith

Compliance Consultant

Annette has over 20 years experience in the VET sector starting as a trainer and moving through to the position of CEO.  This has provided her many aspects of the training and education industry. In recent years Annette has become a qualified Auditor and continues to improve the quality and standard of the training and assessing of the learners.

A leading CPA in Victoria, Jeff overseas all the accounts maintaining the financial viability of the RTO.

Anne Dohnt

Receptionist

Anne’s friendly persona and willingness to assist makes her the perfect receptionist. From answering the smallest of queries and making students feel at home to ensuring all communications are attended to and the office is run smoothly.

Advance Forward Trainers 

 Our Trainers are qualified, dedicated professionals who have current industry experience and qualifications in a range of industries. Their industry experience is continually up to date by participating in professional development activities giving our students the best practical industry experience.

At Advance-Forward we deliver nationally accredited courses via training face-to-face and in the workplace. When you study with us, your trainer will be always there to assist you throughout your course. You can either enrol in a classroom training environment or receive onsite workplace visits and even phone or email your Trainer for advice which means you get the support you need when you need it.

Advance-Forward trainers are all professionally qualified trainers and have personal industry and job role experience. Our trainers deliver their training in a way that students enjoy.

Angelo Xerri

Security and First Aid Training Consultant

Angelo has been involved in the security for over 25 years working at all levels eventually moving into the training sector.  Throughout this time, he served in the Australian Army deploying twice and worked in a variety of business sectors often in senior roles.  Having moved into the training sector over 5 years ago, Angelo quickly developed his knowledge of the VET system.  Angelo continues to teach security, risk management, occupational health and safety among other courses of instruction.

Grahame Marwood

Security and First Aid Trainer

Grahame has experienced an extremely extraordinary career within the fields of security and safety.  A former member of the QPS for in excess of 20 years, within city and country locations, and rising through the ranks to reach a senior management position, he sought a career change within the civilian environment.  A management role within a Qld Government Owned Corporation involved in maritime security, saw him heavily involved in counter terrorism at a national level.  More recent areas of note include his involvement in the 2014 Brisbane G20, and, the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Grahame enjoys travelling, family and sports, as well as maintaining his fitness.
